McCallister Equipment — Aerial Lift Fleet Repaint

Project Overview

McCallister Equipment is one of our ongoing accounts, and this fleet repaint is a good example of why equipment companies keep calling us back. Their aerial lifts — scissor lifts, boom lifts, and articulating arms — take a beating in the field. Grease, rust, dings, and years of outdoor exposure add up fast. When a machine looks rough, it reflects on the company renting it out.

Endurance Painting was brought in to repaint the fleet from the ground up. That means proper prep first — cleaning off grease and contamination, addressing rust and surface defects — then primer and a durable finish coat in the machine's original colors. The goal is a finish that looks sharp and holds up in real working conditions.

The Work

Each lift went through the same process before a brush or spray gun touched it:

• Full degreasing and pressure washing to remove field contamination
• Surface preparation — sanding, spot rust treatment, and feathering around any damaged areas
• Primer coat applied to bare metal and repaired sections
• Finish coat in OEM color using a commercial-grade coating system built for industrial equipment
• Careful masking around hydraulic fittings, cylinders, decals, and safety labels throughout

Fleet repaint work has to be efficient — these machines are rental inventory and every day they're down costs McCallister money. We worked through the fleet methodically to minimize downtime and return each lift ready to go back on the lot.

Results

Every machine in this batch came out looking like it rolled off the factory floor. Clean color, sharp lines, no runs, no missed spots. McCallister's customers are renting equipment to put in front of their own clients — what that equipment looks like matters. A well-maintained fleet signals a well-run company. That's what we delivered.
